TRIP INFORMATION

Here is what you need to know about your upcoming trip:

DETAILS

 

  • We will reach out to you 24-48 hours prior to the date of your trip to discuss times and locations.

 

  • Please make sure everyone in your group has reviewed, signed and returned our waiver by the day of the trip.

 

  • Because space is limited, bring only what is needed and avoid large bags or coolers.

 

  • If you have any special needs or requests, please feel free to contact us at any time to discuss options!

WHAT TO BRING

 

  • Fishing license! If you have not already, purchase your license prior to our trip and ensure it is valid for the date scheduled. Licenses can be purchased at any sporting goods store or online at: https://odfw.huntfishoregon.com/login

 

  • Wear warm clothes and layers! Air temperatures are always cooler on the water so be sure to plan accordingly.

 

  • Rain Gear if there is ANY chance of precipitation or spray from the boat. Pack both a Jacket as well as Rain Pants!

 

  • Food and beverages for the day. Alcoholic beverages are allowed if consumed responsibly.
Guided Fishing Trip Release Form
THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A WAIVER OF CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS

By accepting the charges for your trip, you agree to this release & waiver when booking your trips with Day One Outdoors Guide Service (“Day One”).
In consideration for being permitted to participate in the activities coordinated with Day One. I agree to the following waiver and release:
I acknowledge that fishing/boating/hiking has inherent risks, hazards, and dangers for anyone that cannot be eliminated, particularly in a wilderness environment. I understand that these risks, hazards, and dangers include without limitation:
1. Water hazards in boating and wading in the rivers including drowning;
2. Hiking in rugged country;
3. Injuries from fishing equipment and other participants;
4. Encounters with wildlife, animals, and insects;
5. Temperature extremes;
6. Inclement weather conditions and unavailability of immediate medical attention in the wilderness in case of injury.
7. Swimming, should participant enter the water.

I understand the risks, hazards, and dangers of fishing and have had the opportunity to discuss them with my guide and outfitter. I understand that these activities may require good physical conditioning and a degree of skill and knowledge. I believe I have good physical conditioning and the degree of skill and knowledge necessary for me to engage in these activities safely. I understand that I have responsibilities. My participation in this activity is purely voluntary. No one is forcing me to participate and I elect to participate in spite of the risks. I am voluntarily using the services of this outfitter/guide with full knowledge of the inherent risks, hazards, and dangers involved and hereby assume and accept any and all risks of injury, paralysis, or death.
Any loss or damage to Day One’s equipment by the participant(s) will result in charges to the participant for said equipment (other than lures or line).
Day One does not discriminate on the basis of disability in admission to, access to or operations of its programs or services. Day One’s programs or services will be made accessible to and useable for qualified persons with disabilities unless doing so would cause a change in the basic services or would result in unreasonable financial or administrative burden. By signing below, participant acknowledge Day One’s policy and affirms that the participant possesses the degree of physical skill and competency to be able to perform as directed by Day One or has received an adequate accommodation by requesting the accommodation in writing to Day One.
Lastly, I, for myself, my heirs, successors, executors, and subrogates, hereby knowingly and intentionally waive and release, indemnify and hold harmless my assigned guide and outfitting company, their directors, officers, agents, employees and volunteers from and against any and all claims, actions, causes of action, liabilities, suits, expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) which are related to, arise out of, or are in any way connected with my participation in this activity including, but not limited to, negligence of any kind or nature, whether foreseen or unforeseen, arising indirectly or directly out of any damage, loss, injury, paralysis, or death to me or my property as a result of my engaging in these activities or the use of these services, animals, or equipment, whether such damage, loss, injury paralysis, or death results from negligence of my chosen/assigned guide/outfitter, or from some other cause. I, for myself, my heirs, my successors, executors and subrogates, further agree not to sue any entity, business, employee, guide, volunteer or outfitter associated with my activity/trip. Injury, paralysis, or death suffered in connection with my use and participation in the activities of this outfitter/guide/company is solely my responsibility.
I have read carefully, clearly understand, and voluntarily sign this waiver and release agreement.

Cancellation Policy:

To reserve your date, a deposit for each angler or payment in full is required. If your trip is cancelled by Day One Outdoors, LLC due to changes in regulations, weather, equipment failure or act of God; the customer will have the option of selecting another open date or requesting a refund. Customers cancelling trips must do so a minimum of 14 days in advance of the date booked to receive a refund of deposits or trips paid in full. If a trip is cancelled by the customer within 14 days of the date booked, no refund will be issued. Refunds will be paid in full if funds were paid in cash or by check. If a deposit or full payment was made by credit card, the refund will be issued, less a 10% credit card transaction fee. Day One Outdoors, LLC is not responsible for other expenses the client incurred including but not limited to: Lodging, meals, travel or other expenditures. We recommend our customers purchase trip insurance.
